Purser’s Office Account Executive

EXPERIENCED Business to Business (B2B) Field Sales person who has the right drive and attitude to succeed in a fast paced payroll environment. The successful candidate will be required to cover the Delaware Valley winning new payroll services business. This is an aggressive new business 'hunter' role and requires a new business go getter. To plan and carry out all payroll sales activities on new sales opportunities and on all assigned accounts. Candidate is responsible for ensuring complete customer satisfaction and managing quality of Purser’s Office payroll product and service delivery.


This successful candidate should have 2-5 years of service sales experience. Candidate must be a self-motivated, autonomous, sales person with a proven track record of 2 -5 years sales success.

Successful candidate will be target-focused, money and success driven over-achieving sales person with experience of face-to-face sales within a B2B environment. Candidate must be a self-starter who loves working towards sales pipelines.

Personality-wise, successful candidate will be strong, professional and a B2b sales person. Candidate must be well groomed and smartly dressed and have a clean driving record with a current driver’s license.


Develop and maintain a customer database
Generate and qualify leads
Source and develop client referrals
Prepare sales action plans and schedules
Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials
Plan and conduct direct marketing activities
Makes sales calls to new and exisiting clients
Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
Develop sales proposals, negotiate with clients
Maintain sales activity records and reports
Respond to inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
follow up on sales activity
Perform quality checks on product and service delivery
Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development


Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and advanced knowledge of Excel
Proficient knowledge of  principals and practices of sales
Experience or knowledge of busineses management and human resourecs
Experience in sales
